FINAL JUDGMENT OF ADOPTION
THIS CAUSE was heard upon the verified Petition for
Adoption filed in this cause and with the written consent of
the natural mother, ROMONA JANE SEABEES, and the Court noting
that the natural father died in June 1974 in Buford, South Caro-
lina, and it appearing to the Court that the Petitioner is a 3
fit and proper person to adopt the minor child sought to be
adopted and that the best interests of the child will be
promoted by the adoption and that the ~~ild is suitable for
adoption by the Petitioner, JAMES PHILLIPS SEABEES, and the
Court being otherwise fully advised in the premises, it is
f ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the minor child known as
MATTHEW WAYNE SHAMBLIN, is declared to be the legal child of
the Petitioner, JAMES PHILLIPS SEARI.ES, and is given the name
of MATTHEW WAYNE SEABEES by which he shall hereafter be known,
and it is further
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that this child shall be the child
and legal heir of the Petitioner, JAMES PHILLIPS SEABEES, en-
~ titled to all the rights and privileges, and subject to all
obligations of a child born to Petitioner, JAMES PHILLIPS SEABEES,
in legal wedlock,
DONE AND ORDERID at Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, 's
