WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, held a public hearing on the 15th day of May,

1979, after first publishing a notice of said hearing in the News
Tribune at Fort Pierce, Florida, on the 24th day ~f April, 1979, on
closing, vacating and abandoning that portion of the following
described right of way, and renouncing and disclaiming any right
of St. Lucie County and the public in and to the lands lying within 3
that portion of said right of way in St..Lucie County, Florida
described as follows:
That part of Lowell Road lying between Blocks 22 and 29,
less and except the west 27 feet thereof, Blocks 23 and
28, Blocks 24 and 27, Blocks 25 and 26
AND
That part of Hawthorne Road lying between Blocks 28 and
45, ~iess and except the west 27 feet thereof, Blocks 28
46, Blocks 27 and 47, Blocks 26 and 48.
All lying and being in San Lucie Plaza, Unit 1, as per
plat thereof in Plat Book 5, page 57, public records of _
St. Lucie County.
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing there were no objections to
closing, vacating and abandoning said right of way and renouncing
.and disclaiming any right of St. Lucie County and the public in and
to the lands. lying within said right of way, and in-the opinion of

the Board of County Commissioners, it is to the best interest of
the public to close, vacate and abandon said road and disclaim and
s
renounce any right of St. Lucie County and the public in and to the
lands lying within said right of way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
~ sinners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this
~ 15th day of May, 1979, as follows:
1. That portion of a public road in St. Lucie County, Florida
described as follows:
That part of Lowell Road lying between Blocks 22 and 29,
less and except the west 27 feet thereof, Blocks 23 and
28, Blocks 24 and 27, Blocks 25 and 26 ~

That part of Hawthorne Road lying between Blocks 29 and
45, less and except the west 27 feet thereof, Blocks 28
