KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PR~SENTS, That the undersigned for and
in consideration of the sum of One Dollar, to them in hand paid by
rhp FnRT PiF.R(;F, IITILITIES AUTHORITY OF THE~CITY OF FORT PIEFCE, FLORIDA,
a municipal corporation, under the laws of the State of Florida. ~
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. do hereby convey and grant
to the CITY OF FORT PIEP.CE, FLORIDA, for the use and benefit of the
FORT PIERCE UTILITIES AUTHORITY the privilege and easement to construct :
electric distribution and transmission lines over and across the
following described land in St. Lucie County, Florida, to-wit:
From the Southeast corner of Lot 10~ Block 16,
of CARLTON'S ADDITION to Fort Pierce as recorded ~
in Plat Book 1, Page 167, Public Records of
St. Lucie Couinty, Florida, run West 75 feet to the
point of beginning; thence continue West 65 feet

run North 9 feet, thence run Southeasterly 65.6 feet
to the point of begi~nning.
This easement shall be subject to grantors herein being allowed to
place~paved driveways over and across.said easement. It is understood
that Fort Pierce Utilities, Authority shall replace and repair any
~ part of said driveways in the event they are damaged or torn up
during the construction or maintenance of the 69 KV Electric Transmission
Line. Fort Pierce Utilities Authority will place only one steel pole
within said easement~ said pole to be located approximately 18 feet
east of the east right-of-way line of U.S. ~Iighway No. 1(South 4th Street):;
on the Delaware Avenue side of the easement. Cuide wires and/or
additional poles shall be placed within the 18 foot distance of the
easement and shall not impede access to the property through the paved

~ the said land and have the right to grant this easement.
