III-and DAVID G. CARSON, share and share alike, absolutely,
or to the survivor; provided, however, that if either of said
sons shall predecease me leaving issue me surviving, such
issue shall receive,~per stirpes and not per capita, the share
which such son would have received if he had survived me. _
Other than real property, I instruct and empower my Personal
Representatives to divide my estate into parts and make
distribution of those parts in lieu of the beneficiaries
receiving .undivided moieties.
ITEM IV.
In addition to the powers conferred upon my Personal
Representatives by law for the purpose of partitioning or
diet=ibuting the funds of my estate and for any other purpose
whatsoever, I hereby give to my Personal Representatives full
power to sell, lease, mortgage, pledge, invest, re-invest,
exchange, manage, control and in any way use and deal with,
any~and all property of my estate, real, personal and mixed,
without any application to any court or judge thereof for leave
~I or confirmation. I hereby release and discharge my said Personal
Representatives of and from any liability, responsibility or
charge whatsoever, except for willful misfeasance. I also direct
that my said Personal Representatives shall have the power to
consent to and participate -in the re-organization or consolida-
tion_of any corporation, the stocks, bonds or other securities
of which he may hold in my estate, and to do all things
whatsoever necessary, advisable or expedient to~enable them
to secure for my estate the benefits of such re-organization
or consolidation including particularly the sale or purchase
of .any rights incident thereto and the payment of any amounts
necessary or advisable to take advantage of such rights.
