1.29 "Terminated Participant" means a person who has been
a Participant, but whose employment has been terminated other
than by death, retirement, or Total and Permanent Disability.
1.30 "Trustee" means the person or persons named in the first
paragraph hereof as Trustee and his, their, or its successors.
1.31 "Trust Fund" means the assets of the Plan as the same
shall exist from time to time.
1.32 "The Value of the Total Prior Contributions on a Typical
Individual Level Premium Cost Method." means the total of level
annual costs computed from the date of entry in the_Plan to the
applicable Anniversary Date. Such level annual cost will be based
upon Average Monthly Compensation, using the interest factor from
the most recent actuarial assumption.
1.33 "Vested" means the portion of a Participant's Accrued
Benefit that is nonforfeitable.
1.34 "Year of Service" shall mean any computation period
of twelve (12) consecutive months during which an Employee has
at least 1,000 Hours of Service.
For purposes of eligibility for participation, the initial
computation period shall begin with the date on which the Employee
first performs an Hour of Service. Tie Participation computation
period beginning after a Break in Service shall be measured from
the Employee's reemployment date. The participation computation
period shall shift to the Plan Year when: (a) at the end of the
initial computation period (starting with the date of hire) the
Employee fails to complete 1,000 Hours of Service, or (b) the
Employee satisfies the service requirement of Section 3.1; or
(c) the Employee completes a Year of Service following a 1-Year
Break in Service. The first participation computation period
following the shift shall include the last day of the prior partici-
pation computation period.
I For purposes of vesting (and accrued benefit) the computation
period shall be the Plan Years. However, if an Employee becomes
a Participant pursuant to the terms of this Plan, but fails to
complete 1,000 Hours of Service during the Plan Year in which
~ he becomes a participant, he, nevertheless, shall be credited
with a Year of Service for the purposes of Section S.5(b) if he
comples 1,000 Hours of Service during the initial participation
computation period.
1.35 "Authorized Leave of Absence" means a temporary cessa-
tion from active employment with the Employer pursuant to an
established nondiscriminatory policy, whether occasioned by
illness; military service, or any other reason. An "authorized
leave of absence" shall not cause a 1-Year Break in Service if
the employee returns to active employment at the expiration of
his "authorized leave of absence."

1.36 "Contract" or "Policy" shall mean a life insurance
policy, an annuity policy, or annuity contract issued by the
insurer as elected. All contracts or policies shall be issued
as of the Effective Date or any Anniversary Date on a uniform
and nondiscriminatory basis.
