Before me, the undersigned, a Notary Public in and for

the State of Florida, personally appeared Thomas F. Ring, Jr., k
the President of Compass Investment Group (Compass), who, being
by me first duly sworn, deposes and says:
1. That Compass is the owner and in possession of the prop-
erty ("Property") described as:
See Exhibit A attached hereto.
2. That for more than ninety (90) days prior to August
23, 1979, no material or labor has been furnished in conncetion
with improvements to the Property for which any unpaid bills
exist, and that there are no unpaid mechanics' or materialmen's
liens affecting the Property, and that the improvements, if any,
made on the Property are fully paid for.
3. This affidavit is made for the purpose of evidencing
to Chicago Title Insurance Company that there are no unpaid mechanics'
or materialmen's liens affecting the Property.
