ORDER
This cause coming. on to be beard on Motion of the Defendant,
HOSPITAL CORPORATION OF A1DiRICA, d/b/a LAWNf~100D MEDICAL CBNTER, and the Court,
upon hearing argument of counsel and being otherwise advised in the premises, -
finds that the Complaint filed herein alleges negligence in the care and
treatment of the Plaintiff while Plaintiff was a patient in Defendant's
hospital and, under the provisions of Section 768.44, Florida Statutes, those
claims must first be submitted to a Medical Liability Mediation Panel before
an action may be maintained in a Court of Law; it is, therefore,
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Defendant's Motion to Dismiss is granted,
and Plaintiff is granted leave to file a Medical Liability Mediation Claim in
_
accordance with the above-cited Statute.
