FINAL JUDGMENT OF ADOPTION -
? This cause coming on this day to be heard upon the -
verified petition for adoption filed herein by MICHAEL WILLIAM
SHAFFER and upon the consent for adoption filed herein by the
natural mother, Michele Jean-Shaffer,-and upon the consent fore-~
adoption filed herein by the natural father, Anthony LOe Padgett,
and it appearing to the Court that the petitioner is a fit and
proper person to adopt the minor child sought to be adopted and
that the best interest of the child will be prompted by the adoption
and the child is suitable for adoption by the petitioner, MICHAEL
WILLIAM SHAFFER, and the Court being fully advised in the premises,
it is
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the minor child known as
THERESA MARIE PADGETT is to be the legal child of the petitioner,
MICHAEL WILLIAM SHAFFER, and is given the name of THERESA MARIE
SHAFFER, by which name, she shall hereafter be known, and it is
FURTHER ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the child shall be
the child and legal heir of the petitioner, MICHAEL WILLIAM SHAFFER,
entitled to all of the rights and privileges, and subject to all
of the obligations of children born to the petitioner, MICHAEL
WILLIAM SHAFFER, in lawful wedlock with his now wife and natural
mother of the child, MICHELE JEAN SHAFFER.
DONE AND ORDERED at Fort Pierce, St.-Lucie County,
Florida, this day of September, 79.
