On this dag personally appeared before me, tha under-
signed officer duly authorised to administer oaths and take
acknowledgments, VINCENT A. LLOYD, ESQUIRE,-who, .after being
by. me first duly cautioned and. sworn, upon oat2i deposes and
-says
1. That he the preparer of a certain Warranty
Deed from Mrytle_E. Crooks, an unremarried widow and-Charles -
W. Crooks, a single adult,. to the Cuban American Club of _
Fort ..Pierce, Inc., dated July 29, 1977,-and recorded in
Official Record Book 274, at page 23, of the Public Records
of St. Lucie County, Florida. _
2. That due to an error in the legal description in
the above-captioned Warranty Deed, he prepared a second
Warranty Deed to correct the error in the legal description,
said Warranty Deed being dated July 28, X978, and recorded
in Official Record Book 291, at-page 1b76, of the Public-
Records of St. Lucie County, Florida.-
3. That due to a scrivener's error in the second -
Warranty Deed, it was not stated that it was, in fact, a
corrective Warranty Deed filed to correct. the error in the
legal description found in the Warranty Deed dated July 29,
1977.
4. That the purpose of this Affidavit is to verify
_ the fact that VINCENT A. LLOYD, ESQUIRE, was the preparer of
both of the aforementioned Warranty Deeds, and that the
~ Warranty Deed dated July 28, 1979, and recorded in Official
Record Book 291, at page 1676, of the Public Records of
St. Lucie County, Florida was, in fact, a corrective Warranty
Deed filed to correct an error in the legal description found
in the original Warranty Deed dated July 29, 1977.
