Section 1. A petition having .been presented to the City
Council in accordance w:Lth Section 3 (29( of Article V of the
Charter of Port St. Lucie by FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY -
requesting the annexation of the lands hereinafter described and
such lands being contiguous to and within 3 miles of the presQnt
municipal limits of the City of Port St. Lucie, and FLORIDA POWER
' & LIGHT COMPANY, being the sole owner of Parcels 1 and 2, the
following described lands located in the unincorporated_area
of St. Lucie County, Florida, are hereby annexed to and
incorporated within the municipal limits=of the City of Port St.
Lucie:
_ Parcel 1. Tract 1, Block 1 of ST. LUCIE GARDENS, a subdivision
in Section 35, Township. 36 South,- Range 40 East, St.
- Lucie County, Florida, according to the plat thereof
~ recorded in Plat Hook 1 at page 35 of the public
records of St. Lucie County, Florida.
Parcel 2. A 15 foot strip lying North and East of Tract 1,
Block 1 of St. Lucie Gardens, in Section 35, Township 3
South, Range 40 East as per plat thereof recorded in
