HomeMy WebLinkAbout1035 • t . nA ~ ~ ORDINANCE 79-35 AN•ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED BELOW INTO THE CITY OF PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. THE CITY OF PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA HEREBY ORDAINS: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Port St. Lucie, Florida, hereby accepts the voluntary petition for annexation dated July 26, 1979, submitted by VIMER ENTERPRISES, INC., who is the fee simple owner. Based on said petition, and the fact that the land hereinafter described is contiguous, and within three miles of the present City of Port St. Lucie, and the peti- tioner being the sole owner of such land, and said land being reasonably compact, the following land located in the unincorporated area of St. Lucie County, Florida, is hereby annexed to and incor- porated within the municipal limits of the City of Port St. Lucie, Florida: Start at the Northeast corner of Section 22, Township 37 South, Range 40 East, St. Lucie County, Florida; thence run N 89°59'49" W, along the North line of said Section 22, a distance of 171.66 feet to the Point of In- tersection with the East line of the property described in the property Boundary Line Agree- went as recorded in 0. R. Book 110, Pages 15- ' 18, St. Lucie County, Florida, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING: thence run S 0°14'07" E, a ong sai East ine a distance of 198.36 feet to the Point of Intersection with the South line of the property described in said Property Boundary Line Agreement; thence run N89°59'49" W, along said South line, a distance of 522.30 feet, more or .less, to the waters of the North Fork of the St. Lucie River; thence meander said waters Northerly a distance of 260.00 feet, more or less, to the Point of Intersection with the North line of said Section 22; thence run ~ S89°59'49" E, along said North line, a distance ~ of 564.52 -feet, more or less, to the POINT OF • BEGINNING, and the same is and shall hereafter be considered as a part of the City of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Section 2. Pursuant to Florida Statute 171.044(2), this Ordinance shall be passed after same has been published once a week for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circula- tion within the County. This Ordinance, upon its adoption shall be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of St. Lucie County, Florida and with the Department of State. au~x31$ p~E~.034
