FINAL JUDGMENT OF ADOPTION
THIS CAUSE having come on to be heard before me on
motion of the Petitioner for Final Judgment of Adoption and
being carried to the Court and the Department of Health and
Rehabilitative Services has filed the answer recommending the
Petition for Adoption be granted and the Court being advised
in the premises finds: -
1. The Petitioner, ROBERT A. NEWKIRK, a fit and proper
person to adopt the child named in the Petition and that the
best interest of~the said child will be promoted by such adoption.
2. That the said child is suitable for adoption by
said Petitioner. -
3. That the said child's mother, TERRICEDA M. NEWKIRK,
has consented to this adoption and the said child's natural
father, STANLEY H. WHITTED, whose present whereabouts are unknown,
has been legally excused from consenting to this adoption. ~

It is therefore upon consideration:
ORDERED, ADJUDGED, A_ND DECREED:
a) That the permanent custody of the said child known
as TORIANDO M. WHITTED, in this proceeding be and the same is
hereby given to ROBERT A. NEWKIRK, and his wife, TERRICEDA M.
NEWKIRK.
