PETITIONER, DOLORES DAVIES, alleges:
1. Decedent, rENE McF.LVY DAVIES, died on December 28,
19?6, and on July 1, 1977, petitioner, DOLORES DAVIES, was
appointed personal representative of the decedent's estate.
2. The sole asset in the estate is real property
consisting of approximately 40 acres of land in Collie- 'aunty,
described as Tract 715-18 located in the N.E. 1/4 of the 27.t~'.
1/4, Section 34, Township 52, Range 31, which property is located
in the Big Cypress National Preserve..

to purchase the subject property from the L7nited States Ceoartment
of the Interior, 2ational Park Service, Bia Cypress :lational
Preserve, a copy of which offer is annexed hereto. Petitioner has
received no other offers for the purchase of such property. From
petitioner's inquiry into the sales value of adjacent land, which
lard has likewise been sold to the ~~nited Mates Department of
the Interior, petitioner has ascertained that the offer to purchase
for the amount of Eleven Thousand Four Hundred Di~llars {S11,400.001
is a reasonable offer. In the absence of such voluntary salA '.:y
petitioner, petitioner understands that the government •.:ill institute
proceedings for the taking of such property by eminent domain, anc?
petitioner wishes to avoid such proceedings anC the attendant costs
thereof.
