AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THAT PORTION OF THE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY t
BETWEEN GEORGIA AVBNUB AND HAVANA AVENUE DESIGNATED AS
CHERRY STREET, A/R/A 19TH STREET ON TH8 PLAT OF LAWNWOOD
ADDITION AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 2, PAGE 16, PUBLIC RECORDS
OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINID BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
Section 1. From and after the effective date hereof, the City of Fort
Pierce hereby closes that portion of the street right-of-way between Georgia
Avenue and Havana Avenue designated as Cherry Street, a/k/a 19th Street on
the Plat of Lawnwood Addition as recorded in Plat Book 2, page 16, Public
Records of St. Lucie County, Florida. i
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be and become effective upon final
passage.

WE, THE UNDERSIGNID, Mayor Commissioner and the City Clerk of the City
of Fort Pierce, Florida, do hereby certify that the foregoing and-above
Ordinance No. H-88 was duly advertised by title only in the Fort Pierce News
Tribune on the 8th day of October, 1979; was duly introduced, read and passed
on first reading by the City Commission of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida,
on the 15th day of October, 1979; copy of said Ordinance was made available at
the office of the City Clerk to the public upon request during the time
~ between the first and second reading of the Ordinance; and was duly read and
~ passed on second and final reading on the 5th day of November, 1979, by the
City Commission of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida.
IN WITNESS HEREWITH, we hereunto set our hands and affix the Official
Seal of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, this the 6th day of November, 1979.
