Wsaases, the Company deems it neeeaaary and advisable for its
proper corporate purposes to create a new aeries of bonds to be mown
as its First Mortgage Bonds, Series and to issue presently, ender
the provisions of Article IV of the Original Indenture, Thirty Million
Dollars ($30,000,000) in aggregate prinoipal amount of said First
Mortgage Bonds, Series to be secured by the Original Indenture as -
heretofore supplemented and as farther supplemented and modified by
this Twenty-Third Supplemental Indenture (the Original Indenture as
so supplemented and modified being hereinafter commonly referred to .
as the ' `Indenture") ;and
Wass, the Company has requested the Trustees to join with it
in the execution and delivery of this Twenty-Third Supplemental Inden-
tare; and
Wasssss, each of the registered bonds of Series S, and the certifi-
i crate. of the Trustee to be endorsed on the bonds are to be substantially
