HomeMy WebLinkAbout1789 ! i •448436 • S( i i RESOLUTION NO. 79-97 ~ t WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission after holding a public hearing at which time due notice was published at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing, has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County that the following amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning t Resolution for St. Lucie County be adopted, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing s on said amendments on October 23, 1979, after first publishing a notice of said hearing in the News Tribune published in Fort Pierce, Florida on the 8th day of October, 1979,said date being at_ least fifteen days prior to the date of said hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis- . sinners of St. Lucie County, Florida in meeting assembled this 23rd day of October, 1979 that the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County be and the same is hereby amended as follows: ---~~1, Amend Section 22, Subsection 2,Limitations, to read as follows: "2. Limitations. No amendment shall be enacted to change the zoning classification of any parcel of land, except to the existing classification of the adjoining property or to a more restrictive classification, unless (1) it has at least 200 feet of road frontage and at least 40,000 square feet of area or (2) it has at least five (5) acres of area without road frontage. For purposes of defining restrictiveness, the following two (2) ~ groupings shall be used which list zoning districts from least ~ ~ restrictive to more restrictive: ' Primarily Residential Primarily Non-Residential (1) R-4E (1) M-3 (2) R-4D (2) M-2 (3) R-4C (3) M-1 (9) R-2 (4) B-4 (5) R-MH (5) B-3 (6) R-4B ~ (6) B-2 (7) R-4A (7) B-1 t (8) R-1C (8) P-1 ~ (9) R-1B (9) PS-1 (10) R-lA (11) R-lAA 2. Amend Section 7, Subsection 20(A) Site Plan Review - Procedure ~ ~ to read as follows: "(A) Site Plan Review - Procedure: No building or structure or part thereof, shall be erected or used, or land or water used, or any change of use consummated, nor shall any building permit be issued therefor, unless a Site Plan for such building, structure, or use shall have been reviewed and approved by the Board of County Corunissioners of St. Lucie County." 3. Delete Section 7, Subsection 20(A)(3). r 9. Delete last paragraph of Section 7, Subsection 20(F). ~
