MORTGAGE EXTENSION AGREEMENT
This agreement made this day of December, 1979, by
and between HERBERT PULITZER, JR., a single adult, herein-
after referred to as Mortgagor, and the SUN BANK OF ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, a Florida banking corporation with its principal
place of business at 111 Orange Avenue, Ft. Pierce, Florida
33450, hereinafter referred to as Mortgayee.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of November, 1973, Mortgagor
borrowed from Mortyagee the sum of $200,000.00 and executed
and delivered to Mortgagee his promissory note for said
amount payable on or before November 19, 1974, bearing in-

terest at the rate of 8 1/2$ per annum; and
~ WHEREAS, the indebtedness evidenced by the aforemen-
tinned $200,000.00 promissory note~is secured by a first

mortgage given by Mortgagor to Mortgagee on the following

i described lands in St. Lucie County, Florida:

The NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the W 1/2 of the
West 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section
'l4, Township 35 South, Range 39 East; and
WHEREAS, said first mortgage dated November 19, 1973,

was recorded on November 19, 1973, in O.R. Book 221, page
128, of the public records of St. Lucie County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the maturity date of the above described mort-
I gage and the promissory note secured thereby has been extend-
i

ed by various agreements between mortgagor and mortgagee,
said extension agreements having been recorded in O.R. Book
246, page "1349, O.R. Book 261, page 114, O.R. Book 270, page
913, and O.R. Book 283, page 12, all of said references being
to the public records of St. Lucie County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, Mortgagor is the present owner of the above

described real property; and
