MODIFICATION OF MORTGAGE
THIS AGREEMENT, made this i4th day of December, 1979 ,
by and between JOHN C, RICE and RUTH A. RICE, his wife,
hereinafter referred to as Mortgagors`', and FIR.~i rF,u%i~i,
SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF FORT PIERCE, hereinafter
referred to as "Mortgagee";
WITNESSETHs -
WHEREAS,, on the 30th day of August, 1979, thefMortgagors
executed a mortgage to the Mortgagee recorded in O. R. Book 316
at page 68 of the public records of St. Lucie County, Florida,
and O. R. Book 478 at page 2040 of the public records of
Martin County, Florida, which mortgage encumbered real property
described as follows:
Lot 2 of BAY COLONY OF STUART, as per plat thereof
on file in Plat Book.7, at page 5b, public records
of Martin County, Florida and also recorded in Plat
Book 19, page 1, of the public records of St. Lucie
County, Florida
and
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed to modify said mortgage
and to substitute a new legal description as hereinafter
described;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and
$1.00 and other good and valuable considerations by each to
the other paid, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the
parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
1. The lien and operation of the hereinbefore described
mortgage is hereby spread so as to encumber real property in
Martin County, Florida, described as follows:
Lot 15, of BAY COLONY OF STUART, as per plat thereof
on file in Plat Book 7, at page 56, public records of
Martin County, Florida and also recorded in Plat Book
19, page 1, of the public records of St. Lucie County,
Florida
in the same manner and to the same effect as though the last
above described lot was originally specifically described in
said mortgage.
