HomeMy WebLinkAbout1256 I l ~ ' ~ • . 232 Pace 630 PROMISSORY NOTE $200,000.00 Coral Gables, Florida December 10, 1979 FOR VALUE RECEIVED the undersigned promises to pay to the order of SIGNATURE INVESTMENTS CORPORATION, a Florida corporation, the principal sum of TW0 HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000.00) DOLLARS, together with interest thereon from date, at the rate of eight (8$) per cent, per annum until maturity, said interest being payable annually on the 10th day of December; both principal and interest being payable in lawful money of the United States or its equivalent, at 2650 S.W. 27 Avenue, Miami, Florida, said principal sum to be payable on the dates and in the amounts specified below, to-wit: The sum of Twenty Thousand 1S20.000.001 Dollars on the _ 10th day of December, 1980, and Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars on the 10th day of December of each consecutive year thereafter until the principal sum has been paid in full. This note may be prepaid in full or part at any time or times after December 31,.1979. Each prepayment shall be applied, at the option of the maker or his successor as owner of the land encumbered by the mortgage securing this note, to the installment or installments of principal next thereafter due or to the finai principal installment { then owed. Interest shall accrue at all times on the amount of principal owed and unpaid. s Each maker and endorser severally waives demand, protest and notice of maturity, non-payment or protest and all requirements ~ necessary to hold each of them liable as makers and endorsers. Each maker and endorser further agrees, jointly and severally, to pay all costs of collection, including a reasonable attorney's fee in case the principal of this note or any payment on the principal or any interest thereon is not paid at the respective maturity thereof, or in case it becomes necessary to protect the security hereof, whether suit be brought or not. This note and deferred interest payments shall bear interest at the rate of eight (8$) per cent, per annum from maturity until paid. 5 . This note is secured by a purchase money mortgage of even date herewith and is subject to all provisions stated in said mortgage. The land encumbered by said mortgage from time to time shall be the sole security for the debt evidenced hereby and the-maker shall not be personally liable. If any installment of principal or interest be not paid within thirty (30) days after notice of default given by the holder hereof to the maker, the entire balance owed upon this note shall become due and payable on demand of the holder hereof.
