RESOLUTION NO. 79-109
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, held a public hearing on the 4th day of December,
1979, after first publishing a notice of said hearing in the
News Tribune at Fort Pierce, Florida on the 13th day of November,
1979 on closing, vacating and abandoning that portion of the
following described right of way and renouncing and disclaiming
any right of St. Lucie County and the public in and.to the lands
lying within that portion of said right of way in St. Lucie County,
Florida described as follows:
Beginning at a point lj4 mile east of the northwest
corner of Section 28, Township 34 South, Range 40
East, thence east to the west right of way line of
Dixie Highway, thence southerly along said right of way
line 27 feet, thence west to the. point of beginning
(sic), thence north 25 feet to the point of beginning
containing lj4 acre more or less.
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing there were no objections to '
closing, vacating and abandoning said right of way and renouncing
and disclaiming any right of St. Lucie County and the public in and
to the lands lying within said right of way, and in the opinion of
the Board of County Commissioners, it is to the best interest of
€ the public to close, vacate and abandon said road and disclaim and
renounce any right of St. Lucie County and the public in and to the
lands lying within said right of way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this
4th day of December, 1979 as follows:
1. That portion of a public road in St. Lucie County, Florida
described as follows:
Beginning at a point 1/4 mile east of the northwest
corner of Section 28, Township 34 South, Range 40 East
thence east to the west right of way line of Dixie
Highway, thence southerly along said right of way line
27 feet, thence west to the point of beginning (sic)
thence north 25 feet to the point of beginning containing
1/4 acre more or less.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned and any
