I give and bequeath:
(a) To my cousin, Sara Jo Smith, of Hemphis, Tennessee,
the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars, if she survives me;
(b) To Maude Glenn, 122 East Watauga Avenue, Johnson
City, Tennessee, the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars, if
.she survives me;
(c) To Mabel~Glenn, 122 East Watauga Avenue, Johnson
City, Tennessee, the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars,~if
she survives me; and
(d) To my wife's niece, Suzanne Swanson, of Portland,
Oregon, the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars, if she
survives me.
In the event any of the legatees of this item of my .Will
fail to survive me, the bequest herein to-such deceased person
shall Iapse and become a portion of my residuary estate and disposed
of as hereinafter provided. -

All of the rest, residue and remainder of my property of
whatsoever kind and wheresoever situated, I give, devise and -
bequeath to my Trustees hereinafter named in trust, nevertheless,
to hold, manage, invest and reinvest the same and pay the net
income therefrom in convenient installments, but not less than
quarterly, to or for the benefit of my-wife, Trula Glenn Smith, for
and during her lifetime.
