8. EDWARD MEREL a resident of Hackensack,
pew Jersey , is sui juris and otherwise qualified under the
laws of Florida to act as guardian of-the person and property
of the incoa~petent,.and is entitled to preference because he is the. _
only child of the incctapetent-and the closest living relative.

9. Reasonable search has been mde, and any of the information
required by Florida law and by the applicable-Florida Rules of Probate
and Guardianship Procedure that is~not-'set forth in full above cannot
be ascertained without delay that would adversely affect the incompetent
or the incompetent's property.
WHEREFORE, petitioner requests that- EDWARD MEREL
-be appointed as guardian of the-person and property- of the _
incompetent.
