PETITION FOR REINSTATEMENT OF FINAL JUDQ~ENT
The Husband, LAIRD BRIAN DUNCAN SAVAGE, by and through
his undersigned attorney,-files .this his Petition for Reinstatement
of Final Judgment which was entered herein on August 1, 1977
and as grounds therefore would show unto this court as follows:
1. That on May 18, 1977 the Husband filed a Petition
for Dissolution of Marriage of the parties in this court. That,
at that time, the residence of the Wife was unknown and the
Husband filed an Affidavit of Diligent Search and Constructive
Service. A Notice of Action was filed in this case on May 19,
1977 and a Proof of Required Publication was filed herein on
June 28, 1977.• That upon the failure of the Wife to answer
as required by law a Default Judgment was entered against the
Wife on July 1; 1977.
2. That this cause came on for hearing before the
Honorable Phillip G. Nourse on August 1, 1977 and then on that
date the Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage was signed
by .Circuit Judge Phillip G. Nourse.
3. That the Husband was not represented by counsel in
obtaining the Dissolution of Marriage and failed to record the
aforementioned Final Judgment.
4. That since obtaining the aforesaid Final Judgment of
Dissolution the Final Judgment has been accidentally destroyed by
fire and is not available for recording at this time.
WHEREFORE, the Husband prays this Court for a Reinstatement
of Final Judgment of Dissolution.
