CHRISTIE MARIE.CROOKS,
A Minor.
O R D E R
This action was heard this day on the verified petition
filed herein by the stepfather/petitioner, CHARLES W. CROOKS,
and upon verified consent and joinder of the natural mother,
VALERIE JOHNSON CROOKS, and. the verified consent of the
natural father, CURTIS EDWARD MORTON, and it appearing to the
Court, based upon the evidence presented, that CHARLES W. CROOKS
is a fit and proper person to adopt the minor child, CHRISTIE
MARIE MORTON, and that it is in the best interest of the minor
child and the minor child will be promoted by the adoption
and that the minor child is suitable for adoption by the
petitioner, it is hereby
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED as follows:
1. The minor child known as CHRISTIE MARIE MORTON,
born on December 13, 1976 in Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County,
~ Florida, is the legal child of CHARLES W. CROOKS and is entitled
to all rights and privileges, and subject to all obligations,
of a child born to petitioner in lawful wedlock.
2. The child is given the name of CHRISTIE MARIE CROORS
by which name she shall be known ~reafter.
