Architectural Control Committee shall be an owner of a lot in
Platts Branch. All Committee members shall serve without
compensation and in the event a Committee member shall
resign, become deceased, or otherwise cease to serve, his
successor shall be elected by the property owners as soon as

become effective until a written instrument to that effect, -
duly executed by the owners of a majority of lots in Platts
Branch, has been duly recorded in the Public Records as
aforesaid.
8. FILLING AND EXCAVATION. No lot or building site
shall be increased in size by filling in any portion of any
body of water that it abuts. The elevation of a lot shall I
not be changed so as to materially affect drainage, or sur-

face elevation or grade of surrounding lots. No rock,
gravel, or sand shall be excavated or removed from any prop-
erty in Platts Branch for commercial purposes.
9. NUISANCES. No obnoxious or offensive activity shall
be carried on upon any lot, nor shall anything be done there- s
on which may be or may become an annoyance or nuisance to the

neighborhood. All owners of lots shall maintain their prop-
erty in such manner so as not to create health or fire
hazards and shall not allow their ro ert to become unsi ht-

ly. In the event any owner of any property in Platts Branch
shall fail or refuse to keep such premises free from weeds,
underbrush, refuse piles or other unsightly growths or ob-
~ jects, then the Committee may enter upon said lands and
remove the same at the expense of the owner and such entry
shall not be deemed a trespass: The charge for such removal
shall be due and payable within thirty (30) days after the
g owner is billed therefore, and in the event such charge is

not paid within such time, a lien in favor of the Committee
