7. Venue of this proceeding is in this county because
the incompetent resides in this county.
,8. The incompetent is presently in the care and custody
of the petitioners and has been in the care and custody of the
petitioners on a semi-permanent basis since November, 1979.
9. Petitioners, JOHN WILLIAM MEEHAN, SR. and FLORENCE
REGINA MEEHAN, his wife, residents of St. Lucie County, Florida, are
sui juris and otherwise qualified under the laws of Florida to act
as guardian of the person and of the property of the incompetent and
is entitled to preference because the incompetent has expressed her I
desires that Petitioners shall be appointed guardian.
10. Reasonable search has been made, and any of the infor-
mation required by Florida law and by the applicable Florida Rules Of
Probate And Guardianship Procedure that is not set forth in full
.above cannot be ascertained without delay that would adversely affect
the incompetent or the incompetent's property.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners request that they be appointed as
temporary and permanent
/ guardian of the person and of the property of the incompetent.
Under penalties of perjury we declare that we have read "
the foregoing and the facts alleged are true, to the best of our
knowledge and belief.
