of my death, even though property that is included in the
determination of a tax does not pass under this will. Insofar as
possible, that payment shall be made as an expense of
administration without apportionment to anyone and without seeking
contribution or reimbursement from anyone.
III.
SPECIFIC BEQUESTS
To my grandson, ERIC PAPS, if he survives me, I make the
following specific bequests of my property:
a) ..The sum of twenty thousand ($20,000.00) in cash.
b) That certain mortgage receivable from Ligia Browne,
25-23 35th Street, Astoria, New York to Sofus Petersen, recorded
in the City Register of Queens County, New York, in reel No. 1215,
page 842-45, in the principal amount of $28,000.00, bearing
interest at the rate of 9 1/2 per cent per annum for 20 years.
~ commencing December 14, 1979 and ending November 14, 1999, said
j ~ mortgage being payable monthly at the rate of $261.. -
c) All of-the shares of common stock of the Madison Fund
- Inc., and The Charles Pennroad Corp. held by me at my death.
If my grandson ERIC PAPS does not survive me, this gif t
shall lapse and the property shall become a part of the residue of
my estate.
I V.
RESIDUE ~
The rest of my probate estate after payment of estate taxes,
including all lapsed and void gifts, hereafter designated as my
residuary estate I give to my daughter FLORENCE PAPS, and if she
