14. To bring any action in eay name in any court of
law or to defend any action instituted. against me in any
court of law. .
15. To collect any monies due me by any individual,
firm or corporation whatsoever, on account of any matter
or thing whatsoever, and to give .in my name valid~a~d binding
receipts for all monies so collected-.
16. To demand from any individual, firm or corpor- -
ation the possession of any and all articles of personal
property belonging to me, and to take the same into my attor-
ney's possession and in my name to execute a receipt for all
articles so received.
17. To pay all household bills, insurance premiums,
medical bills and all other liabilities incurred for my -
benefft and to pay amounts to me or disburse amounts for
my maintenance, support and care or to meet any emergencies.
18. To represent me and appoint others to represent me
in all tax matters before all officers of the Internal Revenu
Service and in any State. department of revenue] to make and
verify any income tax returns, claims for refund, requests for
extension of time and consents fn my name= to execute peti-
tions to the tax court and complaints in any Federal and Stat
courts and cause me to be represented in such proceedings.
19. To sign any and all'papers, deeds or other in-
struments necessary to carry out any of the foregoing powers,
hereby giving and granting unto my said Attorney full power
and authority to do and perform all and every act and thing
whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done in and about th
premises as fully to all intents and purposes as I might and
.could do if personally present, with full power to substitute
place and stead.

No inventory or account shall be filed with any court, or the
Clerk thereof, but an accounting -shall be filed with the undersigned
each year, and with the undersigned's Executor in the year of death of
the undersigned.

In the event that any proceedings are instituted to have
me declared incompetent and to have a guardian or trustee appointed
~ for my property and estate, it is my desire and request that ROBERT
~ WEEDON DAVIS, Charlotte, Mecklenburg .County, North Carolina, be ap-
€ pointed such guardian or trustee, it being my intent and desire to have
my property and affairs continually managed by him.
