Heile Dear Mr. Stone:~ Thank you for your letter of April 18th. . On the conveyance to Anna Riley. She is mortgagee on a $5000 (no interest) mortgage. The estate has agreed to convey that property to her for $4500. She-is to execute the discharge, receive the deed and $500 from the estate. This -latter sum can come from the executors'-bank account here in ` New Jersey. I have already sent to Anna Riley a discharge which she declines to sign until she has her deed in hand (and the check). This even though her daughter is -one of the executors. I suggest you forward me the fully executed deed to that grantee. ~ I shall have it for hand delivery upon my receiving her executed discharge or satisfaction. When she receives the deed I shall explain about her recording it or having you record it.
