IN RE: Guardianship of
ARABELLA BUTLER,
Incompetent.
PETITION FOR DISCHARGE OF GUARDIAN
The undersigned, as guardian of the person and property of
ARABELLA BUTLER, incompetent, alleges:
1. The need for the continuation of this guardianship no
longer exists by reason of the fact that ARABELLA BUTLER is deceased,
a certified copy of the death certificate being filed in this cause.
2. Petitioner was the son, only child and sole heir of
ARABELLA BUTLER, and as such waives notice and hearing on this
petition and consents to the entry of an order discharging him as
guardian of the person and property of ARABELLA BUTLER, without delay,
notice or hearing.
• 3. Petitioner represents that the only asset of ARABELLA
BUTLER was approximately $1300.00 cash which petitioner used for
the payment of the funeral bill in the amount of $1923.35. The
I
petitioner used personal funds with which to pay the balance of the
funeral bill and therefore the guardianship has no assets.
WHEREFORE, petitioner requests that an order be entered
discharging petitioner as guardian and releasing the surety on
petitioner's bond, if any, from further liability.
Under penalties of perjury I declare that I have read the
foregoing and t:~e facts alleged are true, to the best of my knowledge
and belief.
