PETITION FOR ORDER AUTHORIZING SALE
Petitioner, as guardian of the property of VIRGINIA STAFFORD,
incompetent, alleges:
1, Part of the assets of the guardianship consists of a
3/4 interest in a promissory note and mortgage dated June 17, 1977.
in the original principal amount of $10,000.00. A copy of the
mortgage and note are .attached hereto. Also attached is an assign-
ment of mortgage dated August 9, 1978, clarifying the interest of
the mortgagees.
2. That the principal balance of the ward's interest in
the note and mortgage is $4,872.48 and bears interest at the rate of
8% per annum. _
3. It is expedient, necessary and in the best interest of
the guardianship to sell the note and mortgage to provide funds for

nursing home care at Easter Manor for the ward. That the guardian-
ship is presently without sufficient liquid assets to pay Easter
Manor Nursing Home for care received by the ward.
4. An offer dated May 21, 1980 has been received from
~ Harris Construction Corporation to purchase the above-described
mortgage for the sum of $5,400 cash. A copy of said offer is attached
and incorporated herein by reference.
5. That petitioner is the individual owner of a 1/4 interest
in the note and mortgage and consents to sell his interest pursuant
to the above offer.
3 6. That petitioner is also the guardian of the person of
the ward and next of kin and that there is no other person entitled
to notice of this proceeding.
