Huddleston, joined by his spouse, Diana L. Huddleston, hereinafter referred to as Mortgagor, - -,~r. and Paul D. Combs and Lorene B. Combs, his wife, hereinafter .referred j ~ "~yy to as Mortgagee : - ~ ih'ITNESSETH: _ ~n',•' The Mortgagee is the holder of that certain Mortgage dated 1/25/80, ~•~"`~~j" n T, and recorded in Official Records Book 326, page 516, Public Records ~ .._~r i ~ ' ) of St. Lucie County, Florida, encumberin the lands described, to-wit: ~ -t Lot 6, Block 49, Port St. Lucie, Section 25, according to the Plat o thereof, recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in ~ and for St. Lucie County, Florida, in Plat Book 13, page 32, public records; and Lot 9, Block 662, Port St. Lucie, Section 13, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for St. Lucie County, Florida, in Plat Book. 13, page 4, public records which is hereby referred to as a part of this Agreement; and «hereas, the Mortgagor now requests the Mortgagee to change and modify the Mortgage to increase the original principal sum and change the terms and conditions of the Promissory-Note secured thereby said Mortgage; NO~t', therefore, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) this day in hand paid by the Mortgagor to the Mortgagee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and in further consideration of the premises and of the covenants hereinafter mutually exchanged, the lllortgagee and E j Mortgagor do hereby agree as follows: i 1. That said Mortgage and the Promissory Note which it secures, be- modified to increase the principal sum from Eighteen Thousand and No/100 I ~ ($18,000.00) to Thirty Thousand and :~'0/100 ($30•,OOO.n0) Dollars. 2. Interest to accrue on the first Eighteen Thousand and No/100 $18,000.00 e Dollars, at the rate of 18~ and the full year's interest is due as penalty if paid in advance; 3. Interest to accrue on the Twelve Thousand and No/100 ($1~,OOO.OG) Dollars at the rate of 18°,l~ per centum per annum from I?fay 1, 1980, as 4 earned on the unpaid balance; no prepayment penalty. i ~ 4.
