A paper writing, purporting to be the last will and testa-
ment of Joseph W. Butterworth, deceased, was this day produced before the under-
signed, Clerk of the Circuit Court for the City aforesaid, in the Clerk's Office
of said Court, and being proved according to law by the oath of Margaret B. Moss
one of the attesting and subscribing witnesses thereto, who deposed that she
together with Robert L. Freeman and W. M. Jordan, the other attesting and sub-
scribing witnesses were together at the same time and in the presence of Joseph
i W. Butterworth the testator when he si ned said apex writing and acknowledged

~~it to be his will and Chnt they, at his request, in his presence, and in the
presence of each other, signed ti+eir names thereto as subscribing witnesses and
that the testator was nt that time over the age of 18 years and capable of
making a will. Whereupon, said paper writing is recorded as the true last will
and testament of the said Joseph W. Butterworth, deceased. Thereupon, on the

motion of Elizabeth Drewry Butterworth, the executrix in said will named, who
~~made oath therrto, as the law directs, entered into and acknowledged a bond in
;the penalty of 'I~,relve Thoussnd Dollars (12,000.00), conditioned according to
Maw but yaithout security (no <<curity being required by said will or by the
~ :#Clerk), which said bo++d is recorded as the law directs, certificate is granted
