ORDER ON JOINT PETITION FOR ORDER APPROVING
SETTLEMENT
THIS CAUSE com+na on to be heard before me upon the Joint
Petition for Approval of Settlement of a claim for personal
injuries sustained by KENNETH SHAFFER, a minor, by and through
his mother and next friend, CAROL NEWTON, and CAROL NEWTON,
individually,. and the Court having considered the testimony
of .the parties hereto, and being further advised in the premises.
the Court finds:
(a) That-KENNETH SHAFFER is a minor.
(b) That CAROL NEWTON is the parent and will be the natural
` and appointed guardian and next friend of said minor.

(c) That said minor sustained certain personal injuries
for which said minor has a claim. It is thereupon,
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED as follows:
1. That Joint Petition For Order Approving Settlement
of the claim ^f the minor and CAROL NEWTON for personal
injuries as against FORT PIERCE NEWS TRI6UNE, CHARLES THOMAS,
MARSHAL SUMMERLINE, The !locr:e Insurance Company and St. Paul
Fire and Marine Insurance Company be and the same is hereby
granted.
2. The settlement o~ such claims in the amounts set forth
in the Stipulation be and the same are hereby approved.
3. When the said minor Plaintif"'s mother is appointed
3;iardian of said minor, she is authorized to execute a full
and complete release of such claims against FORT PIERCE NEWS
