-time of my death, all proceeds of life insurance policies on my
life payable to my estate or to my executor or administrator, as
well as all other property over which I shall have at the time
of my death any power of disposal which I shall not have other-
wise specifically exercised or released, I give, devise, bequeath
and appoint unto my brother, STUART P. MARKS, and my sister, '
VIRGINIA TRUXALL, in equal shares, share and share alike. In
the event either my brother or sister shall predecease me, then
his/her share shall be distributed to his/her living issue per
stirpes.
THIRD: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint
my brother, STUART P. MARKS, as executor of this my Last Will
and Testament, and I expressly confer upon him powers as such -
executor to administer my estate, excusing him from giving any
bond to any Court. I hereby authorize and empower my said
executor to compound, compromise, settle and adjust all claims
and demands in favor of, or against my estate, and to sell at
public or private sale, at such prices and upon such terms of
credit or otherwise as he shall deem best, the whole or any

part of my real or personal property and to execute and deliver
r deeds and other proper instruments of conveyance thereof to the
purchaser or purchasers, all without notice to, or permission
r
of any person and without order of any Court. No purchaser from
my executor need see to the application of the purchase money to,
or for the purposes of my estate, but the receipt of my executor
shall be a complete discharge and acquittance therefor.
In the event my .brother, STUART P. MARKS, shall
predecease me or die during the course of administration of my
estate, or be disabled or refuse to serve as such executor, then

VIRGINIA TRUXALL, as executor of this my Last Dill and
