FIFTH: My executrix, including any suc-
censor when acting, shall hav+s, in addition to those con-

ferred by law and other provisions of this, my Will, the
following powers, authority and discretion over the assets
of iay estate :
To retain any and all property in
my estate in the same form as such property existed at the
time of my death; to invest and reinvest the assets of my
estate, or any part thereof, in any stocks, whether cannon
or preferred, bonds, obligations or other grope=ty, real or
personal, which she may deem advisable, without restriction
to legal investments and without being under any duty to
diversify investments; to participate in, consent to or
oppose any reorganization, merger, consolidation or read-
justment of the finances of any corporation, company or
association and to charge the expense thereof, if any, to my
estate; to sell, exchange, mortgage~or lease for any term or ~
otherwise dispose of any property constituting the assets of
E my estate, upon cash or credit and upon such terms and con-
~ ditions as to her seem proper; to vote all stocks and to
a
grant any proxies therefor; to register property held by her
in her own name or in the name of a nominee or nominees, or
~ to hold the same in bearer form without disclosure of the
trust; to make distribution of the assets of the estate in kind
_ or in cash, or .partly in each, in her discretion; to institute
or defend any action or proceeding on behalf of or against mY
estate, and to compromise, settle, arbitrate or release any
~ claim in favor of or against the estate, upon such terms and
conditions as she in her discretion deems best.
