All of that part of the following described property lying West of the Florida East
Coast Railroad, and excepting the part lying East of the Florida East Coast Railroad:
In Section 9, Township 37 South, Range 41 East, beginning at a point 600 feet Southerly
from a monumental stone set about 50 feet Westwardly from the line of St Lucie Sound
on the North. line of land belonging to Messrs Crabtree and Mason; thence Westerly and
at right angles with the St Lucie Sound 1,213 feet, more or less to the Savannah;
thence Southerly along the line of Savannah 173 feet; thence Easterly and parallel with
the first line to the St Lucie Sound; thence Northerly along the line of St Lucie
Sound 173 feet to place of beginning, being part of same land conveyed to Rebecca J
Richards by Mary G Morse and others recorded in Book~3, pages 254, 255, 256, 257
and 258, June 8, 1882.
Beginning at a point on the St Lucie Sound in Section 9, Township 37 South, Range 41~
East, it being the NE corner. of lands belonging to D P Mervin and generally known as
the Mervin place and run along the line of the said Mervin place in a Westerly direction
and at right angles with the St Lucie Sound 1,213 feet more or less to the Savannah;
thence run North to the SW corner of lands deeded by Thomas E Richards and his wife to
Everett J Shattuck, June 6, 1882, as recorded in Deed Book B, page 504, in the office
of the Clerk of Brevard County, Florida; thence run along this line in an Easterly
direction (South by East) to St Lucie Sound; thence meandering the St Lucie Sound in
a Southerly direction to the place of beginning, and fronting the said St Lucie Sound
about 35 feet, more or less, and containing-one (1) acre, more or less.

West part of Lot 2 (Savannah) in Section 9, Township 37 South, Range 41 East, St Lucie
County, Florida, containing 59 acres, more or less, as per Quit-Claim Deed recorded
in Deed Book 62,•page 41, St Lucie County, Florida, public records.
The above lands are those described in the shaded area on Sheet Number 45/09N of the
assessment map, St Lucie County, Florida (copy. of said shaded area attached hereto and
by reference made a part hereof) as said lands are confirmed in letter dated August 7,
1980, from James W Bass, Property Appriaser, St~Lucie County,. Florida (copy of said
letter attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
