HomeMy WebLinkAbout1539 IX~Voting Rights Each condominium unit or parcel shall be entitled to one vote which shall be voted by the respective unit owner. In the event a unit is owned by more than one owner, the total owners of such unit shall collectively be entitled to cast the only one vote attributed to each unit. Voting may be by proxy in accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws of the condominium association. X. Amendments to Declaration of Condominium This Declaration of Condominium may be amended in the following manner: Section 1 -Notice Not ice of the subject matter of a proposed amendment shall be included in the notice of any meeting at which a proposed amendment is ;considered . Section 2 -Adoption An amendment to this Declaration may be proposed by any director or by any unit owner. An amendment shall be adopted by the affirmative vote of not less than seventy-five percent (75$) of the owners of all of the units at a meeting called for that purpose in accordance with the By-Laws. (See Section 5 following with reference to Limitations Upon Amendment.) Section 3 -Agreement In the alternative, an amendment may be made by an agreement signed and acknowledged by all of the record owners of the units in the condominium in the manner required in the execution of a deed, and such amendment shall be effective when recorded in the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida. Section 4 -Execution and Recording A copy of each amendment shall be attached to a certificate executed by the President or aVice-President of the association and attested by the secretary of the association to the effect that the t amendment was duly adopted by the association. Such certificate shall be executed by the appropriate officers of the association with all of~ the formalities required for the execution and recording of a deed.
