:ner;?ory and understanding, but mindful of the uncertainty of this
life, dp.hereby make, publish and declare the follaving as and for
:ny last will and testament~,.Hereby revoking and making void any and
all other wills and writings in the nature threof made by me at any '
time heretofore.
FIRST. I hereby direct that all my just ae5ts.and funeral
expAnses be paid as.soon as convenient after my decease. ~
SECOND. I hereby direct that all estate and inheritance taxes
chargeable against my estate be_paid by the executor out of the. ~
residuary assets of ny estate but not out of the portion constitut-
irg thc~ marital trust assets.
TKIRD. All the rest, residue end remainder of my adjusted
gross estate, both real. and personal, wheresoever situated, I divide i

into two parts, one to be known as a marital deduction, hereafter
i
referred to as the marital trust, and the other to be known as the
residuary trust. she marital trust is for the benefit of rty husband,_ }

~+lfred A. Chisholm, and it shall consist of-fifty per cent (50~)
of the value of my adjusted gross estate as finally determined for
:'e~'eral Estate Tax purposes less the aggregate anount of the marital

deductions, if any allo:ved for such tax purposes by reason of. ~
i property or interest in property passing or which has passed to r.1y

husband otherwise than by the terns of this paragraph of ry will.
My executor shall assign, convey and distribute to the trustee ~
of said-trust the cash, securities and other property, including ,
real estate and interests therein, :,~ltich shall constitute said
~ '%+e~uest. the assts to be distributed in satisfaction of said
