LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie the following determinations: 1. The United States has fought in many wars, and this year me since the end of the Vietnam War. 2. The Florida State Council of Vietnam Veterans of America 15,2001 as the official POW/MIA Recognition Day as a day ofremembr~u as prisoners of war or are still missing as a result of the Vietnam War. 3. At 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 15,2001, the Vietnam Vel 566, St.. Lucie County, will be having the Eleventh Annual POW/MI~ Service at Veterans' Memorial Park on Midport Road in Port St. Lucie 4. This Board believes all Americans should recognize the speci~ citizens who, in the act of serving our Nation, relinquished their freedom blessings of peace and liberty. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOard of Cot Lucie County, Florida: 1. This Board does hereby proclaim September 15,2001, as "POS DAY" in St. Lucie County, Florida. 2.
