ORDER OF CONTEMPT

LOUIS G UNDERWOOD

THIS CAUSE Was heard on the 19th day. of September, 1980, upon the Petition for
Motion for Enforcement of delinquent alimony payments in the sum of $750.00. Both
parties being present in open court and based upon testimony presented, it is the Court's
findings that the Respondent LOUTS G UNDERWOOD has been gainfully employed by the same
employer for 29 years and has the present ability to pay. Further find that upon testi-
mopy in Open Court, Respondent offered no defense other than five years of alimony pay-
ments is enough. Respondent's refusal to pay is willful and deliberate, it is therefore
AD.TUDGED that LOUIS G. UNDERWOOD had the financial ability to pay the sums. herein
after referred to and is now adjudged guilty of willful contempt of this Court for his
willful failure to pay alimony payments as directed by order duly entered herein, a copy
of which is attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof. it is
ORDERED AND ADJUDGBD that as punishment for contempt he is hereby sentenced to serve
THIRTY (30) days in the St. Lucie County Jail, Fort Pierce, Florida.
~ PROVIDID, HOWEVER, he may purge himself (either before or after incarceration) and

be released by paying the sum of $750.00 plus $15.00 (arrears and costs) due as of this
~ date to theClerk of Circuit Court of this County, together with costs of his arrest. You
and your duly authorised deputies are therefore
ORDERED to arrest the said LOUIS G UNDERWOOD and deliver him to the Sheriff of St.
Lucie County, Florida for the execution of the above described judgment and sentence.
The Clerk of Circuit Court and this Court shall be promptly notified of his arrest.
JURISDICTION of this cause, and the parties hereto is retained for the entry of such
further orders as may be proper.
