his death and mine are not the result of a common accident or dis-
aster, for the aforesaid fifteen (15) daq period, or in the event
his death and mine are the result of a common accident or disaster
for the aforesaid fifteen (15) day period, then I give mq estate
in equal shares to my grandchildren who do survive me for fifteen
(15) daps. If any one or more of my grandchildren does not so
survive me, then I give his or her share to his or her issue who i
do survive me, per stirpes. If no such issue so survive me, I ~
give the share otherwise distributable to such-issue to my sur-
viving grandchildren in equal shares, or to their issue who sur-
vive me, as provided above.
ARTICLE IV
I nominate, constitute and appoint my son, ROBERT
HOTCHKISS BOYD, personal representative of this my Will, to serve
without bond. If he should predecease me or fails to qualify as
personal representative of this my Last Will and TestamQrit, or
having qualified, thereafter for any reason shall cease to act, I
nominate, constitute and appoint my grandchildren as co=successor
personal representatives of this my Last Will and Testament. I
direct that no bond be required of my co-successor personal repre-
sentatives.
ARTICLE V
In addition to all the powers customarily afforded perso

representatives by law, I specifically authorize my personal rep-
resentative or my co-successor personal representatives to do any
and all•things which in their opinion are necessary-to complete
the administration and settlement of my estate including full pow-
er and authority, without the order of any court and upon such
terms and under such conditions as to my said personal represent- ~
ative or co-successor personal representatives shall seem best for
the proper settlement of my estate, to bargain, convey, transfer,
deed, mortgage, lease, exchange, pledge, manage and deal with any
and all property belonging to my estate, to compromise, settle,
adjust, release and discharge any and alI obligations or claims in
