Being the Northwest ~ of the Southwest ~ of Section 31, Township
34 South, Range 40 East, less and except 5.52 acres in the North-
west corner thereof sold and conveye~Q to Robert L. Griffin and
Tommie M. Griffin, husband and wife on February 24, 1942, more
particularly described as follows:
From the Southwest corner of the Northwest ~ of the Northwest ~
. of the Southwest of Section 31, Township 34 South, Range 40 East.
run East 20 feet for Point of Beginning; From point of beginning
run East 310 feet; thence run North 258 feet; thence run East 250
feet; thence run North 286.6 feet to south right of way line of
canal; thence run West paralleling the South right of way line of i
canal 560 feet to the east side of county road; run thence South _
paralleling the east right of way of county road, 544.6 feet, to
point of beginning.
Also except the following descr-ibed two parcels:
(a) Beginning at a point 946,18 feet North of and 25 feet West of
the Southeast corner of the Northwest of the Southwest of Sec-
tion 31, Township 34 South, Range 40 East, St. Lucie County, Florida,
run thence North parallel to the East line of said NW; of the SW;,
140 feet; thence west parallel to the North line of said NW` of the f
Sh';, 725.3 feet, thence South, parallel to the East line of the said t
NW; of the SW~, 140 feet, thence East, parallel to the North line of
the said N'nl'y. of the SW;, 725.3 feet, to the point of Beginning.
(b) Beginning at a point 245 feet North of and 25 feet East of the
Southwest corner of the Northwest ; of the Southwest 3; of Section
31, Township 34 South, Range 40 East, St. Lucie County, Florida, run
thence North parallel to the West line of said NW's of SW;, 140 feet;
thence East,•parallel to the South line o~ said NW: of the SW;, 641
feet; thence South parallel to the West line of said NW: of the SW:,
190 feet; thence West, parallel to the South line of said NW; of '
the SW; 641 feet; to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom all rights of way for public roads and canals.
