AFFIDAVIT OF CONTINUOUS MARRIAGE
STATE OF FLORIDA )
COUNTY OF ST. LUCIE )
Before me, the undersigned Notary Public, personally
appeared VERNA V. LAINE, who being by me first duly sworn, deposes
and says.
1. That she was personally acquainted with CONSTANT
.LAYMAN and EMMA LAYMAN, his wife, for many years and that she was a
legal secretary in an Attorney's office in Cloquet, Minnesota, at
the time that the estates of CONSTANT LAYMAN and EMMA LAYMAN were
probated in Carlton County, Minnesota, and thereby has full know-
ledge of pertinent matters concerning both CONSTANT and EMMA LAYMAN.
2. That because of the facts mentioned in paragraph one
she knows that CONSTANT LAYMAN and EMMA LAYMAN were husband and wife
'and that they were married prior to the time they took title to the
following described property:
Lot 13, Block 420, PORT ST. LUCIE SECTION 3,
a Subdivision accordingg to the Plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 12, Page 13A, of the
Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida.
3. That she further knows of her own knowledge that the
relationship of the parties as husband and wife continued uninterr-
upted until the death~of said E?CIA LAYMAN, also known as EMMA M.
LAYMAN, on April-1, 1971, as more particularly appears frori the
Death Certificate separately recorded.
4. That CONSTANT LAYMAN died November 4, 1971, not having
remarried and thereby leaving title to the above described property
in the names of STANLEY W. STRAND and PAULINE A. STRAND, by survivor
ship created in them by that certain Warranty Deed dated March 4,
1970, and recorded March I9, 1970; in Official Record Book 183,
page 1723, in Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida.
S. That there is no State Inheritance Tax nor Federal
Estate Tax due as a result of the death of said CONSTANT MYMAN or
EMMA LAYMAN, his wife.
