ARTICLE IX
No owner of a Land Trust Certificate, as such, shall have any legal
title to the trust estate or other property, real or personal, held by the
Trustee, his interest being an equitable estate only, and he shall have no
right to call for any partition of the Trust, any and all such rights being
waived by the owners of the Land Trust Certificates. Neither the death of
an owner of a Land Trust Certificate, nor any transfer by operation of law of
the interest of an owner of a Land Trust Certificate during the continuance
of this Trust shall operate to tersinaty the Trust, nor shall it entitle the
legal representative of a deceased owner to an accounting, or to take any
action in the courts or otherwise against the trust estate or the Trustee.
In case any Land Trust Certificate issued hereunder shall become
sutilated, destroyed, lost or stolen, the Trustee say in his discretion issue
in lieu thereof a new certificate in exchange or substitution for the
mutilated, destroyed, lost or stolen certificate upon the owner thereof filing
with the Trustee evidence satisfactory to the Trustee that such certificate
,was mutilated, destroyed, lost or stolen and furnishing the Trustee indesnity
~iin such fors and asount as the Trustee may require for the benefit of all
~~Iinterested parties.
The Trustee shall keep a register of the names and interests of all
i,owners of Land Trust Certificates.
Land Trust Certificates issued hereunder and the equitable interests
(represented thereby say be conveyed and traasfe*red upon proper execution of
(the fors of conveyance set forth on such certificates and upon surrender to
