a. If my wife, ELLEN W. DAGGY, survives me, then and
in that event I give, devise and bequeath to my Trustee, herein-
after named, an amount equal to the maximum marital deduction
allowable to my estate for Federal Estate Tax purposes. It being
my intention that my personal representative consider utilizing
maximum advantage of the unified credit and the credit for State
Death Taxes allowed to my estate (except to the extent that State
'Death Taxes are thereby incurred or increased), in making this
bequest. Should my death and that of my wife occur under circum-
stances under which there is no sufficient evidence to establish
which of us survived, then and in that event it shall be conclu-
sively presumed that my wife survived me.
b. My personal-representative hereinafter named shall
select and allocate the cash, securities and other property, in-
cluding real estate and interests therein, which shall constitute
the devise, employing for the purpose values current at the time
or times of allocation. No asset or proceeds of any asset shall
be selected as to which a marital deduction is not allowable. The
settlor intends that this devise shall qualify for the Federal
,Estate Tax marital deduction.
TERMS OF TRUST AND POWERS OF TRUSTEES - The Trust
referred to in this Article shall be for the following uses and
purposes:
A. To hold, manage, sell, exchange, invest and rein-

vest the same and every part thereof in the manner hereinafter
specified and to collect, recover and receive the rents, issues,
interests, and income thereof hereinafter called "income", and
after deducting the proper and necessary expenses in connection
with the administration of the Trust that are payable from income
to pay the net income therefrom, or to apply the same for the use
and benefit of my said wife for and during the term of her natural
life, in monthly installments as nearly equal as may be possible
or practical. If at any time during the continuance of this
Trust, the net income from the Trust when added to my wife's in-
