Section 8. Vacancies: If the of f ice of the Presidenl.,
Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer, one or more, becomes
vacant b}~ reason of death, resignation, disqualification or
ott~erwise, the directors, by a majority vote, may ci~oose a
successor who shall hold office for r.t~e unexpired Lerm.
Section 9. . Fesignations: Any director or other officer may
resign his office at any time, such resignation to be made in
writing, and to ta~;e effect from tl~e time of its receipt by the
Association, unlcss some time be fixed in ttze resignation, and
then from that date..
ARTICLE IV
PO`~'ERS AP7D DUTIES OP TfiE ASSC~CI~:'i IOh
The Association shall have all powers ~~rant~d to it by law,
the Declaration of Condominium, the Condominiurn ~~ct, and the
Articles of Incorporation, all of which E~owers shall be exercised
by its Board of Directors, unless t:,e exerci~e thereo£ is other-
wise restricted in the Declaration of Condor;~inium, these By-Laws,
or by law. The poa~ers of the Association shall include, but not
be limited to, the following:
(a) To lev} and collect regular and sc,ecial assessments
and to establish the m~thod and time within which
pa}•rnents are to b.e made-;
(b) To exnend monies collected for the purpose of
paying the common expens~~s of thc Association;
(c) To purchase equiprr~ent, su~.~plies and rr,aterial
required for the mair.tenance, r<<~air, reolacement,
eperation and management of the cand~minium
fro~~erty;
(c3) Te ir.s~re and keep insureci the t,~ildings and
i rrprocen~ents of the Condo:~ i r. i um as prov ided for and
limited by the Declaration of Condominium;
(~) To er~j:loy the personnel requir~d for the operation
of the condominium property;
(f) To mal;e reasonable rules and regulations for the
use of the condominium property and to amend them

ar~~ natif ied of such chang~s in tt~e rules and
regulations as ma}~ be enacted;
(g) To i~;prove the condominium property subj~ct to the
lirnitations of the Declaration of Condominium;

Articl~s of Incorporation, the By- Laws, the
D~claration of Condominium, and the regulations
~romulgated by the Association;
(i) To collect delinquent assessnents b}~ sUit or other-
wise, anc3 to abate nuisances and enjoin or seek
damages from unit owners for violation of the
provisions of the condominium documents;
