award~ the Jury was unduly influenced by passion or predudice;
misccnception of the law or evidence or did not consider all of
the elements of damages. This Court is unaware of what wrongful
influence caused the Jury to arrive at this inadequate award.
nor is this Cburt required to make an inquire as tQ the same,
but the Court feels an abiding and pressin~ obligation to order
a new trial as to damages herein absent an additur by the Defen-
dant of $2,500.00. The Court being fully advised in th~ premi-
ses, it is upon consideration
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, as follows:
1. The Plaintiff's Motion for New Tria1 is denied; ex-
cepting however, unless the Plain~iff files an Additur of
$2,500.00 within 20 days from J~nuary 9, 1981, the Court will
order.a New Trial as to damages only.
2.~ That upon Defendants filing an Additur herein within
20 days as aforesaid, the Court will enter a Judgment for the
Plaintiffs in the sum of $6,200.00.
