A RESOLVTION DIRECTING THE CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER OF THT
CITY OF PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA, TO FILE A NOTICE OF LIEN IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA. FOR NONPAYMENT OF
LIGHTING DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE~.
NOTICE OF LIEN
TO THE PUBLIC Ar~D 10 ALL WHOr1 IT MAY CONCERN :
~~HEREAS, the City Council of Che City of Port St. Lucie did,
by Port St. Lucie, Florida, Resolution 73-13, July 10, 1973. establish
Lighting District ~~1 for the pro ~ision of street 1 i~htinp, within an
area described by said Resolution, and
WHEREAS. said Resolution provided that the Lighting DisCricts
''be financed by special assessment on all rzal properties within the
district, and
WHEREAS, certain of the street lighting assessments ~or 1979,
Lighting District ~~1, remain unpaid, and
WHEREAS, said assessmen~s constitute a lien on the property,
NOW, THEREFORE~~BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Port St. Lucie:
1. That the City Clerk and the City 'freasurer of the
City of Port St. Lucie be and they are hereby directed to record in
the Official Records of St. Lucie County, Florida, by recording through
the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, St. Lucie County, Florida~
all said assessment liens now outstanding and unpaid as per schedule
thereof attached hereto marked "Schedule A" and by reference incorporated
herein, which said assessment liens are co-equal with liens of other
taxes, sunerior in dignity to all other liens, titles and claims~ until
paid.
2. That the City Clerk shall forward a copy of this Resolu-
tion to each of the property owners listed on Schedule A.
3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Port
