A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER OF THE
CITY OF PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA, TO FILE A NOTICE OF LIEN IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY~ FLORIDA, FOR NONPAYMENT OF
LIGNTING DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ~ •
NOTICE OF LIEN
TO THE PUBLIC AND TO ALL WNOM IT MAY CONCERN:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port'St. Lucie did.
by Port St. Lucie, Florida. Resolution 77-27, June b, 1977~ establish
Lighting District ~~6 for the provision of street lightin~ wiChin an
area described by said Resolution, and
F'HEREAS. said Resolution provided that the Lighting Districts
be financed by special assessment on all real properties within the
district, and
- t~iEREAS, certain of the street lighting assessments for 1979.
Lighting District ~~6, remain unpaid, and
WHEREAS, said assessments constitute a lien on the property,
i10~J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Port St. Lucie:
1. That the City Clerk and the Cit~~ Treasurer of the
City of Port St. Lucie be and they are hereby directed to record in
the Official Records of St. Lucie County. Florida, by recording through
the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, St. Lucie County, Florida,
all,said assessment liens now outstanding and unpaid as per schedule
thereof attached hereto marked "Schedule A" and by reference incorporated
herein, which said assessment liens are co-equal with liens of other
taxes, superior in dignity t~ all other liens, titles and claims, until
paid.
2.~ That the City Clerk shall forward a copy of this Resolu-
tion to each of the property owners listed on Schedule A.
3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
SSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Port
